Ian held the privelege of being the youngest Actor to play the role of Buddy Holly at the time, when he stepped into the part in the Hamburg production of the Buddy Holly Story. He was also the only non-German Actor to play Buddy in Hamburg.
Since then Ian has played the great man countless times in various productions, never tiring of portraying the geeky young kid from Texas who just wanted to play HIS music, HIS way!
